Call out the instigators
Because there's something in the air
We got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here
And you know it's right
And you know that it's right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now
Lock up the streets and houses
Because there's something in the air
We got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here
And you know it's right
And you know that it's right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now
Hand out the arms and ammo
We're gonna blast our way through here
We got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here
And you know it's right
And you know that it's right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now

Also I am curious to know if there was any BAD music made in in 1970. I love 1970 for music from all over the world, England, Jamaica, USA, etc Always thought it was just a guy...but it was one-hit band put together by Pete Townsend for three musicians, including his chauffeur who wrote "Something in the Air" and the Who's "Arminia City in the Sky." Townsend plays bass on this song as "Bijou Drains." The piano player is Andy "Thunderclap" Newman, so I guess that's why I was confused. The guitarist on this track was 15. Can you imagine being 15 and playing with a Rock God? "Also I am curious to know if there was any BAD music made in in 1970." Why wouldn't there be? |

| KurtfromLaQuinta (Deep in the heart of South California) | Posted: Dec 26, 2012 - 16:31 For years I could have sworn I didn't hear the electric guitar added over the end of this song. I finally got the remastered CD of this album, and it has the "single version" on it... without the added guitar. Mystery solved. I like the single version better. |

| kingart (Brooklyn NY) | Posted: Apr 18, 2012 - 12:45 Perhaps a perfect song. Ten? Merely godlike? I think this was written by Pete Townsend (someone correct me if wrong) but it's rendering here makes it extra special. Included in a seminal '60s movie drives it higher yet. |

| dougmbrown (Denver) | Posted: Apr 18, 2012 - 12:44 A classic, and possibly one of the best examples of a one-hit group. |

| Sloggydog (UK) | Posted: Feb 15, 2012 - 01:47 My modern speakers, though good, just can't make the right noise for this sort of song. Oh for the days of well made speakers full of metal parts. Oh well loud with a bit of a play with the equalizer will have to do. |

| k1j2cat | Posted: Jan 14, 2012 - 07:33 Totally agree with you about this song being a classic. Did a little research and found this: Writer/s: JOHN KEEN. Lyrics © Universal Music Publishing Group That would be John "Speedy" King, the drummer for Thunderclap Newman, the group. Townsend did play bass, arrange, and engineer the song however. I got this from Songfacts.com - other interesting info there. Thanks for "making me look"! :D kingart wrote: A classic.
