Half way through her set she invited Neil Innes up on stage with her. I was probably one of a handful of people there that night who knew who Neil Innes was. Then they played Cheese & Onion from the soundtrack to The Rutles... "do I have to spell it out? C, H, E, E, S, E, A, N, D, O, N, I, O, N, S, oh yeah" Genius. One of my most unexpected concertgoing delights ever. |
