Very good indeed - such a gentle and evocative song. Once again I salute the genius of Nick Drake!  {#Good-vibes}

I like when RP educates me as to where these 'commercial' songs originate!

from the morning  by °°k°°

A day once dawned, and it was beautiful
A day once dawned from the ground
Then the night she fell
And the air was beautiful
The night she fell all around.

So look see the days
The endless coloured ways
And go play the game that you learnt
From the morning.

And now we rise
And we are everywhere
And now we rise from the ground
And see she flies
And she is everywhere
See she flies all around

So look see the sights
The endless summer nights
And go play the game that you learnt
From the morning.

NOT "wrong"...just have a different opinion. World music is lively and exciting. It is a welcome breath of fresh air from some of the boring mainstream music overplayed to death. Expand, grow...enjoy music, art, culture from other areas of our beautiful world!

Now HERE is a singer-songwriter that I can actually enjoy.

Never could get through an entire album of his in one sitting, though.

His songs are great as individual "little breaks", but after a while, they all start to sound the same and lull one to sleep.
Place Nick's CD into your multi-disc player if you have one then place other CD's of choice into that same player then hit the random button. This always works for me when I suffer from what you discribe..

wow. i was hearing the song before this one (Lightning Seeds - Waiting For Today To Happen), and it was so bad i decided to tune out.

instead, i put on a playlist of my own. on random. and this song starts playing (from MY computer). and then i see it starts playing here too (from looking at the "now playing" list. and i tune in again!

edit:

though the following song (Baka Beyond - Spirit of the Forest) was bad enough for me to tune out again. Seriously, what's up with all the friggin world music on this station?!
