This version of this song is on my desert island connection.  The EP version puts my into such a grounded groove.  It's also great for making love.  I don't even know what the words say.

The longer this goes on, the less I like it. The original was so good. This just seems like much of a muchness.

This completely deadens me. If, perhaps I were drunk and this was played extra loud, but no, all music sounds better when drunk and extra loud.

Interesting, but I don't think it compares to the original, which is more layered, interesting, and compelling to my ears...

The original version of this song is OK (not great), but stretching it out this long really gets tiresome.

Bill, please play the original. This is not a bad remix, but I like the original one much better. And while you changing it to the original, add the kyoto song to the list!

sorry if that doesn't make any sense, i'm a total noob at production mixing.  :P

Probably a single synth, like a Motif, doing a basic loop with a couple of percussion samples.  You hear the same thing on Tears for Fears' "Shout," which likewise incorporates a triangle sample into its percussion loop.

I LOVE the Cure, but WHY THE HE11 does RP keep playing this mix of this song?  It is in the regular rotation, but they don't even play the original version?  I hear this song more often than any other cure song on RP!!!  How much does that suck?  Almost as much as this mix...

What's the story behind the lead singer's stage persona? Too much KISS as a kid? Or did acid while watching the movie Beetlejuice?
