.......I'm an avid Cure fan, but with this as my first listen to this version, I'm really not diggin' it much at all....but I did like the little horn solo near the end, that's about it.  Bring on the Pornography Bill!  ;-) Old Cure fans know of which I speak!

Actually, he was one of the "fathers" of Goth - and The Cure's music was/is considered part of the Goth canon. Emo evolved out of Goth, so you might more appropriately say he was Emo's ancestor, distantly related - a proto-Emo, perhaps?

This is my new favorite Cure song first because it's good, but it edges ahead of Pictures of You because it's so different and cheery. 9 maybe 10 by the time I finish the song.
