Now that's a great Lazarus-like comment!

I came here to say that, only in the last few years, did I realize this was a different song than "Friday I'm in Love" - and while that song is OK, this one here is freaking awesome and I just now bumped it to a 9.  If not for the sonic similarities to that other one I might even go to a 10.  I just adore songs with a storyline....something more than just words that rhyme.  LONG LIVE RP!!

Been a 10 for me since the day I first heard it, still a 10 today - many years later.

Reminds me of a girl back then - no longer; ended as abruptly as this song...

I noticed that the Cure's live gigs attract a wide diversity of people. 50+ men like me but also teenage girls. This is one of the songs that had them dancing like, well like only young girls can. Until then they made me think they were at the wrong concert.

I looked it up on your reccommendation, it had a nice girl-scouts-around-the-campfire sound to it but I didn't care for it

"Show me, show me, show me how you do that trick
The one that makes me scream", she said
"The one that makes me laugh", she said
And threw her arms around my neck
"Show me how you do it,
And I'll promise you, I'll promise that
I'll run away with you
.

. gives me a silly juvenile smile

This song, I know,,,,, I always post about it. It just sends me back to the day. In fact it was 26 years ago yesterday.
I am a lucky person. I hope you and anyone else who finds songs that evoke the same feelings are as lucky.

Easily my fav Cure tune! The musical equivalent of a segue from their typical Qualudes and Zoloft to hash with Jack over Coke.
