I'd rather hear something from the studio US album - 'love to be loved' or 'only us'. This version of 'kiss that frog' is kind of bland.

Is ANY man above singing that? I don't think that's possible.

I enjoy Peter's world-flavored stuff, but this is a bit too "canned". I (and he) cold certainly do without those backup singers. Ugh.

This song should have its own 80's movie. I imagine this as a song form the movie Mannequin or some Breakfast Club'ish movie.

So there is Kiss that frog. The greatest hits album was called "shaking the tree". Are there a whole list of gabriel tunes with this type title that create a dance called the "Pete Gabriel Jive"?
Just curious.

I like loads of Gabriel songs. Never much liked the original of this and the Live version does nothing to improve it.

I like Peter Gabriel. But this just sounds like a reworking of all the same musical ideas in Sledgehammer.

Hahaha, pretty funny when Peter Gabriel comes on. I like his music, but I think it's been established that he's overplayed here.
Funny to read people's song reviews..

Wow you couldn't be more wrong. Have you ever been to one of his live shows, or just seen it on TV?

His live shows are amazing

Secret World Live is one of his best "albums". I prefer listening to this over "Us" and "So" (and I adore both of those). Especially Paula Cole's voice on backgrounds instead of (ugh) Kate Bush.

Saw a bit of PG Llve in concert on the tube. It looked rather forced and just not that great. I agree with the one poster...better at studio work.
Besides, he has not aged as well as some rockers...
