Can't go wrong with Zero 7... and Sia when she sings with them (she is fab live btw very quirky on stage in a good way).

{#Chillpill} Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........this CD still holds a place of honor in my collection. (and yes, I do still own some actual CD's — refuse to go completely digital until harddrives stop crapping out - backups be damned).

It seems AIR and Zero 7 are both heavily influenced by the lounge and exotica artists of the 1950s and '60s, as are most of the contemporary downtempo and electronica artists.  A nice sound.

My first thought was Air.

I will give my rating away. 7 for this piece from Zero 7 is quite appropriate.

Very nice set. I'm not sure about the bg free association process that strung them together, but I suppose it is not for us to question why.

6:30 am - Zero 7 - Give It Away
6:27 am - Jem - Come On Closer
6:23 am - Belly - Gepetto
6:20 am - James McMurtry - Good Life
6:17 am - Pork Tornado - Guabi Guabi

I think between the Garden State soundtrack and the Six Feet Under soundtrack, I found the need to sink into something a little more relaxing. Zero 7 (and Air) are like sweet strong coffee on a foggy morning.
