I'd like to hear 'All the Way to Memphis'. It is another good Hoople song.

A great song from Bowie, by a great singer ; Ian Hunter, Maybe better in a live version with Mick Ronson.

Have to tell you guys that I *saw* Ian on tour just two or three weeks ago at the Fillmore here in SF, and he was *fantastic*.

Every song was great, both new and old, Mott and solo stuff. He has a new album out, and the songwriting on all tracks was first-rate. No weak songs at all during the show.

I saw Bowie sing this song in a small venue in the mid-90s, and I'm super-happy now to have seen Ian sing it himself. It was a great experience.

8 -> 9

I admit a lot of this is nostalgia.

Listening to this on a crappy radio while pretending to do homework. Good times (not really. Now that I think about it, high school sucked).

I recently listened to Electric Warrior again for the first time in years, and frankly, in this case, I'd take the TV over T-Rex.

There is a FANTASTIC live version of this done by Bowie on his David Live CD.

Let's up it to a 10.

I've been wanting to do this for years. There you go.
