Pleasantly surprised. But I think some of the folks rating this ridiculously low are just being sourpusses. This is fun music, and I'm sticking by it. A 5.5? Hardly.

Wow! This blended sweetly right after Tracy Bonham's "Devil's Got Your Boyfriend" {#Clap}

In an attempt to turn this positive, I would have to say that No Doubt was a big surprise on the plus side live. Gwen's energy works really well on stage in an unscripted genuine way.

I give it a 1 since I can't give it a zero.

Gwen needs to crawl under a rock and never show her face again. I can't stand her.

This might be the worst comment I have ever posted on this site...

Humm, let me try. Preprocessed, talentless, thoughtless, shit for the preprogrammed masses. At least those people most likely don't listen to this station.

This band had one great tune --- Hey Baby --- and a lot of other stuff that really didn't do it for me. And I agree with the comments re Gwen's solo stuff: Toni Basil did it already --- give it a rest.

yeah, what happened to her? I was switching channels a little while back ago and I saw her on tv singing some some that goes like "WOOHOO, WEEHOO" the whole time in a really annoying way. Yet another example of why bands shouldn't break up. Seems like she's got a case of LSD (lead singer's disease)

Good for you Bill...

Knowing that there was going to be a contingent saying "I can hear Gwen/No Doubt on my local FM Station", he still had the balls to play a song that is more than worthy for RP's playlist... despite the said contingent.

Come on people... get over yourselves and just enjoy what really is a fun song.

Some people say Gwen's voice is sooo whiney.
I think these guys voices are soooo much more whiney: James Taylor and Dave Matthews.

So, what, exactly, are they playing in Portland these days? Far as I'm concerned, music went downhill when Seafood Mama became Quarterflash and sold out to the mainstream...

But, that's just me...

Marley,

Interesting back-story to your comment. I know sometimes people just don't like something, but sometimes there's more to it - makes the forum section more interesting when when people take the time to elaborate.

I've had a love/blahblahblah relationship with this one. Today it's catchy, upbeat and loverly on a sunny spring day.

In addition, that was an amazing segue from Cab to this...even if it is deja vu...It really made me hear the beginning of this song as never before.

Indeed, I could tolerate her on "Just a girl" but in most other songs I've heard from this band (before they started to make the current overproduced bombastic stuff), the exaggerated tremolo makes me want to travel back in time to the moment and place the recording was made, armed with a roll of duct tape.

Everytime this song plays...people noitce it is preceeded by the same two songs...which is fine. But it's the fact that the song isn't up to snuff is what is drawing attention to this...one opinion anyway
