Wow. I am so glad I am home today, shacked up in stormy weather, sucking gallons of coffee and listening to RP. Love this. Simple, almost bubble gum, but so upbeat nice. I got an Amazon gift certificate Christmas, still unused. 'Bout time. This one's going on the pod.  
I have come to the conclusion that RP may play some tunes I hear too much, or that cannot sustain many repetitions, but almost none are bad. Sure, some hit listeners the *this sucks* buttons, but I think that more often than not the fault lies in themselves, not these musical stars.  
Rock on, Bill. You'll be getting more of my money someday soon. Soon after I get a job, that is.

The greatest song ever written, Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, could be played by a child with barely any musical training.  No one will ever write another one equal to it.  If you think this song is so damn simple, just try it yourself.

Wow, a blast from the past. I don't think I've heard this one since it was in regular rotation on "normal" radio.  Not necessarily a great song, but it does dredge up some good memories.

i have no real reason for despising this song as much as i do...but i do... i suppose it stems from growing up in ohio and listening to way too much zeppelin...i pray that i never see the video...viva la differencia!!

This was playing on the mixtape that was broadcast on 1215 AM in the months before Virgin Radio first went on air in the UK. I could only pick up AM on my car radio so I was tuned to this frequency waiting for the station to go live for ages. 

This song reminds me of that excellent old car (a sky-blue Triumph Toledo) and of driving home in the middle of the night from wherever I was. Pure. And simple.
