Sounded like a poor mash-up... 2 songs playing at the same time. I actually needed to hit mute. WTF was that, anyway?

Is "South" an abbreviation of "Sonic Youth"? ;^P

Are we having a husky voice competition - Is it just me but haven't the last few singers all sounded the same!

I guess this is what the word Derivative springs from.
Not stirring enough for me though, the string section and his plaintive note grates a bit imo.

moody blues, flaming lips, genesis, calexico, oasis, coldplay, u2,etc....... you are probably all right. sure is an enjoyable song on its own though.

The first comment is from 5 years ago. It is great to play relatively unknown bands and see if their music catches on with the RP audience, but this one didn't... Low ratings, not much interest in the comments, so why are we still playing this? Substitute something we like more or something new and different e.g. normal RP fare.

Moody Blues, maybe with the background sound, but you would have to take a lot out of this to sound like the Moody Blues. Love the Moody Blues, this is okay.

Yup. Maybe they want to be Oasis when they grow up.

South is hot! Ever since seeing their video for "Paint the Silence" I have been hooked. "Keep Close" is also a great track. Keep playing them, they will do your listeners right!
