He's whining and moping again. The thumping robodrummer is from either Arcade Fire or John Mellencamp.

I saw him circa '89-90 in a club in DC just as he was breaking into the big time.  It was one of the best shows I've ever seen.

I like Chris a lot but has he ever done a song that's not about broken hearts and lost love?

You're close enough to TMI, Cynaera... ;-0

I like hisong
s a lot more when he's not warbling about broken hearts and lost love—he's gone to that well too many times. This is pretty good albeit a little formulaic.

If you create a new chicken recipe, name it after Chris and post it!

I did not like Chris Isaak for a long time.  But RP has changed my mind on him. This song has really grown on me.

Chris Isaak is awesome as usual, but the band is not the same without James Calvin Wilsey. Not even close, they miss his guitar.

As has been pointed out in another post, never dis Chris Isaak to your girlfriend/wife/object of commercial affection. Somehow, he controls the available pheromone stocks in the western hemisphere and you will never get laid if you side against him.

The production on this is stellar. Even at a low volume - you can pretty much isolate every instrument in the mix.

I like.

C.I. is great, anything by him is always appreciated. His show on Showtime was great, as was his role (albeit small) in Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me. An extremely talented and likeable guy.

It has been said that Chet Baker developed the "California Sound" in days past. I think Chris Isaak has the modern California Sound, with his unique style and that big hollow-bodied Gibson.
