Heard some of his ltest stuff. Love Is The Drug done in a 20's Jazz style (live with he and a lady singing on NPR btw) is a killer tune (with or without the vocals).

I've always enjoyed Ferry's 'cool' vibe

Never appreciated Mr. Ferry's music much — blame it on an ocean's physical distance and a cultural distance that kept me preoccupied with ZZ Top and the Allman Brothers.

That is, until I saw the movie "Flashbacks of a Fool."  Great movie, and the one Ferry tune marks a pivotal moment in the teenaged boy's life.  Bummer I missed him in the 70's.

Never heard this on RP, love it. One of my favorite CDs for the back porch on a cool, breezy day.

Had NO idea this was Bryan Ferry!  I love it. Edgy, quirky, dark. He should be singing this in tight jeans, a T-shirt with the sleeve rolled up to hold a pack of cigarettes, and maybe a big bling-ring on his finger.  This is good, gritty stuff. {#Sunny}

I hope you stopped short of the "I'm having a stroke" expression  he has on his face as he sings.

Love a lot of Roxy.  Never dove deep into Bryan.  Like this tune but not enough to buy the album.

Apparently this is a Dave Stewart collaboration but the album has many styles, some Dylan covers, and some Johnny Greenwood guitar (per AMG).  Maybe I will get it.

Long a fan of his earlier material, I haven't heard his newer stuff. I was pleasantly surprised. His voice is still instantly recognisable, if not quite as powerful on this track as I remember it from before.

Bought this CD after hearing "Going Down."

I liked Roxy and almost all of his solo stuff.

But this album really sucks. He does a bunch of Dylan covers, that aren't really that great, IMHO.

Was really disappointed. I may have to listen to it again, but on first listening, it was painful.
