The Young Dubs certainly do put on a great live show.  Like others have said, check them out when they play in your town.  They tend to play smaller clubs when touring on their own.

Maybe an "English" band in the sense that they were all living in England at the time that they formed but Shane MacGowan is most definitely Irish, born in England but to Irish parents.
