Not their best song but still good, a pleasant surprise to hear them on RP.  They are very popular here and are about to start touring again in the new year.

Pretty much.  Decent background music, certainly not bad enough to make me hit mute, but nothing I'm going to remember even 20 minutes from now.

Yep that's a fair comment. And Coldplay are U2 meets David Gates & Bread then? Plodding, ponderous, leaden - just a few words which come to mind upon hearing this song. Powderfinger are one of Australia's biggest bands - maybe they are the Aussie Coldplay?

the chorus sounds like a slowed down version of their single, "My Happiness"... i prefer the single.

I was living in NYC for a couple years and went to the Letterman show one night and these guys happened to play. We really enjoyed their brief "set". One song for the show, but a damn good one.

I can sort of hear that. Not sure whether that's good or bad. But any band named after one of my favorite Neil Young songs is okay with me.

Ah, memories …my one an only vacation to Australia in the summer 2003, for three weeks combing the sunshine coast and generally enjoying the beauty that is Oz! (not to mention the beautiful people!). I went on a three day tour of Fraser Island (the largest sand island in the world) with a bunch of folks from all over the globe …this was the CD that stayed on rotation for the majority of the tour and this was my favourite tune from that CD …I bought the album when in Oz and returned home with this as my only musical selection from the land downunder …thanks for the memories RP!

The song was originally recorded for the Australian movie 'Two Hands' and released on a single about 6 months before the album, that's why there are two versions.

I don't know the answer to your question for certain, but this is definitely different than the version on the CD I have...we must have the same one (I prefer the other version to this one...it's quieter and less rock-and-roll, which seems appropriate for the song)

This band is so very NOT like Ms Crow. (Blegh!) This is an OK song - but not their best. The CD is great - an Aussie classic...
