| MsJudi (Houston, TX) | Posted: Nov 08, 2004 - 18:15 Repetitive = obnoxious. Don't believe me? Tell a 2 year "no" and see how long you can tolerate the bombardment of "why?"s flying atcha. |
| musicalbobs | Posted: Sep 13, 2004 - 10:42 Ding dong, ding dong. Wow, a song based around two notes with some typical stereo-electronica throne around it. This song was just SAD before, but with invention of Garage Band, I could recreate this and 15 like it in on a single rainy afternoon. Does this mean if I come with a cool name like Underworld did, I can be featured on radioparadise too? |
| talus (Des Moines, IA) | Posted: Aug 26, 2004 - 23:46 This the most boring song Ever!!! |
| MrBoyo (Santa Cruz Mountains, CA) | Posted: Jul 31, 2004 - 14:41 Reminds of the feel of St. Germain's "Tourist" album. Very cool and sophisticated groove with jazz inflections. |
| MrKite (The Netherlands) | Posted: Jul 01, 2004 - 14:20 Isn't this just elevator music with a beat? |

Boy, that's a nice call. It didn't cross my mind until I read the post, but you're right, there is some similarity there. |

| bluedot (Long Beach, CA) | Posted: Dec 15, 2003 - 23:11 Actually, this reminds me of Stereolab or Steve Reich. I like it. hey, how about some stereolab? steve reich is very cool too, but he probably would get generally dissed around these parts. . |
| istanbulbaby (Asheville, NC) | Posted: Nov 25, 2003 - 08:43 The endless grandfather-clock-like chimes! Aaaaaaaaaagh! :x |

Yeah, I was thinking cross between Metheny, or Keith Jarrett, and something or other. |

| lgrazulis (San Diego) | Posted: Oct 23, 2003 - 16:25 I lost interest in Underworld after they released Beaucoup Fish, but this and some of the other newer ones are starting to slowly grow on me. Alas they're still nowhere near as good as anything off Dubno or Second Toughest... |
| (former member) (Shadow Valley Condos) | Posted: Oct 13, 2003 - 10:28 Needs a Joe Frank monologue over it. "I was on a cruise ship, sitting at the bar when I noticed a woman sitting next to me dressed as Jesus Christ..." Actually, this reminds me of Stereolab or Steve Reich. I like it. |
| Pipes (Murray, UT) | Posted: Oct 13, 2003 - 10:27 This song just went from painfully boring to painfully annoying! |
| RosieRedfield (Vancouver) | Posted: Sep 24, 2003 - 18:31 Am I wrong, or has this boring music been going on for hours? |

Without a doubt - I absolutely agree. Drains my reserve of tolerence to near empty. Don't mind the style and I can handle simple repetitive stuff but boy there's absolutely no let-up to this songs monotony. |

| ladyj (Owosso, MI) | Posted: Jun 14, 2003 - 19:44 I'm thinking I'm starting to like this band. I've checked out groove salad also but doesn't keep me for very long and end up back here. |
| philarktos (Vancouver) | Posted: Jun 04, 2003 - 15:20 I was thinking of Pat Metheny as well when this started.... then the intro kinda went on forever and it became a bit more obviously electro/ambient. But that's okay with me as well. When I'm not tuned to Radio Paradise it's Groove Salad, SomaFM. I could imagine this on their playlist as well. ![]() |
| Dave_Mack (Saratoga, CA) | Posted: Jun 04, 2003 - 15:10 Sounds like Pat Metheny minus 1. Guess I need to get out my guitar to make this sound like anything. |

| TreborG2 (Strasburg, VA - somewhere east of paradise :)) | Posted: Jan 19, 2003 - 08:19 Thought this sounded familiar.. although I'm always into their more dancy stuff... one in particular that I'd not heard till recently "Two Months Off" which is soo full of energy.... if you get a chance to see the video (hint go to http://www.sputnik7.com) you can see the energy... incredible beat... |

| Platypus (here, now) | Posted: Dec 09, 2002 - 13:06 how about something off of Beaucoup Fish also? |
| grumblecat (Sacramento, CA) | Posted: Dec 06, 2002 - 10:01 There is so little Underworld that I don't like because for a electronic band they have a bit more depth and soul than so many others. They also do wonderful experiments with non electronic instruments as sounds in addition to the technology that they use. |
