Before I can open my all to eager eyes
Everything changes from the oceans to the skies
Perpetual emotion sadder place by me
Everything's breathing my air in all of tree
Yet my fingertips
Have a special sound
Yet my fingertips
They go around and round
This comical wisdom
Creeps into my brain
Away of my nerve
And also free of pain
Yet my fingertips
Have a special sound
Yet my fingertips
They go around and round
Pa-pa-pa-ra-raaa-a
Pa-pa-pa-ra-raaa-a
Electrical current
Hallowed be the name
Live my emotions
And vanish all my shame
Yet my fingertips
Have a special sound
Yet my fingertips
Smell of sodden ground
Before I can open my all to eager eyes (all to eager eyes)
Everything changes from the oceans to the skies
Yet my fingertips
Have a special sound
Yet my fingertips
They go round and round
Pa-pa-pa-ra-raaa-a
Pa-pa-pa-ra-raaa-a

| Skarp (Crooked River Ranch, Or) | Posted: Nov 01, 2009 - 12:04 This song reminds me of my trip to Iceland. Mountains, sky, and ocean along with sodden ground. Yes, a similarity, but that singing style, with the sharp enunciation and lingering on select syllables, was not "invented" by Bjork. There were many nightclub and torch singers of the 1950's and 60's who sang that way, particularly if English was not their first language. However, the fact that both singers are from the same country would have likely something to do with the similarities in their voices and styles. Anyhow, I also like this song. |

Yeah, as with the last song (Autamata-Jellyman), and about 1038 others. This kind of singing and voice is really getting old fast. |

| biribi (femtioförsta breddgraden) | Posted: Jun 21, 2006 - 07:46 I think "sounds like Björk" have been said often enough now... Someone asked (long time ago) if she released some more. Yes, she did. "Merman" with many fantastically covered songs and "Fisherman's Woman" which seems to be already known... It's fascinating how varied her albums are compared to each other. |
