I know I sound like a broken record -- but this is more "depressingly beautiful" stuff. It's good, but... if you're not Townes Van Zandt, depressingly beautiful is a hard sell. Gets a five.

yes, michael miller indeed is a guy. with an angelic voice. his last show at the hotel cafe in l.a. was pretty amazing. rami jaffe of the wallflowers and joe ongie sat in with michael--they sounded great!!

yup, hard to believe it's a guy. But if I hear he's in the Bay Area, it's a show I'll go see, definitely! And since no one can find any album of his, might we get another song of his from RP?

Michael Miller is male. Happens to be a fairly genuine guy. He's a talented songwriter who is developing what I think is a unique sound. His band is one of the best in the area for sure. I know he gets a wide range of comments here. Some I would agree with. All in all, I think Michael might be on to something. He travels... if you get the chance.. fan or not, the band is worth the show..

"And that's all I have to say about that"...

I had to check and see what was playing. My first thought was that this was a cover of "Across the Universe."

Some other posts indicate the artist is female. Can anyone confirm that? The person sounds male to me, not to mention the first name of Michael (although I know a few female Michaels). Just curious.

Thanks for exposing to me such a wide variety of tunes, RP!
