I'm with you man, I took a break from RP last month (listening to KFOG) because of this exact thing. This song was getting overplayed enough back then that I started reaching for the mute button. Just turned on RP 30 minutes ago and mute already???

I'll join the general consensus here...Not a bad tune but it's time to give it a rest RP..it's starting to get stale..

Great song . but it is getting a little overplayed. Why not try another selection RP?

unfortunately, I think I have to agree. One thing I hate about "regular" radio is that they *overplay* things... RP is quickly headed the same way with this one... Please make it stop!

Yeah, really. A few bars of the "Jigglypuff" song is all I need at this point. Good thing I'm not driving...

If you like Folk Implosion, check out Lou Barlow's "other band" Sebadoh. The bio / background on AllMusicGuide is pretty interesting...

It is nice, and perfectly enyoyable to listen to, it's just generic. The melody, drumline, tempo and (dare I say) lyrics sound like off-the-shelf acoustic ballad. Pleasing, not earth-moving. Sometimes breaking the rules and sucking on cotton balls is cool.

The must-have album for Folk Implosion has got to be One Part Lullaby. Probably their best work. The new album isn't too bad either.

This sounds exactly like Jesse Winchester, if not a rip off of some of his melodic signatures.
