Yes. I've delayed making a phone call because a great song just came on...hmm...I'll just twiddle my thumbs and bask in this tune for a moment. {#Meditate}

Thanks for the link. Looks like a pretty cool website.

Never heard of Folk Implosion. Really like what I'm hearing thus far. What a great name for a band, too. Way to go, Bill!

"Two Vedder songs in a row?" I thought when this first came on.

But then it played on. I like. I'll have to go find out more about this group. Nice choice.

I've pretty much given up on finding music at "commercial outlets." Almost all of the small "mom and pop" record stores (with two notable exceptions) here have been driven out of business by the large corporate stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, Walmart, Target, etc). Finding anything off of the beaten path at any of these stores is a chore.

Reminiscent in the faster parts of Coldplay ("God Put A Smile Upon Your Face") and in the slower of Toad the Wet Sprocket.

Cool tune, all around.

Same here, I have really enjoyed this CD. If this is "trite" Lou Barlow, then I need to get the other Folk Implosion albums. Of course, I must confess to a collection of allegedly trite CD's so you may not consider me a credible source of judgment on this one. Honestly, I'm not even really sure what the definition of trite is though I suspect it is a synonymous with a statement of some kind that lacks some kind of depth of content based on an arbitrary criteria. Not that anyone should care about what I think is arbitrary.

I like Lou Barlow's work in general but this album is crap. Trite, boring.

From what I've heard from these guys I can't believe that I haven't heard more from them on commercial radio except for natural one (which sucks compared to what I've heard here). Thanx for the exposure Bill.
