You're in charge
you always were
there's no denying
fire burns
i took alot
but now i'm gonna give
back to you
whatever i got
cos we are one
and we'll always be
you were born first
forever connected to me
connected to me
it's not always how you want it to be
we had no choice,oh desperately
i had to leave
now i'm coming back
we had to see
you're white and i'm black
cos we are one
and we'll always be
you were born first
forever connected to me
connected to me
forever connected to me

That is a great story. Thanks for sharing it! |

I am really loving most of the last hour or more here on RP! Fabulous! |

Strangely compelling this one. Yeah, I knew puberty had hit when that album cover suddenly became a lot more fascinating... This song definitely has a cool-60s feel. Good band. |

| smackiepipe (Western North Carolina) | Posted: May 19, 2011 - 11:51 I always think of Connery's Bond movies when I hear this album. And yeah, I hear the Star Trek wailing as well. ![]() |

I agree - unless they're skin and bones and can't even remember the last time they had a decent meal (you know, the heaving, sweating, skeletonlike variety of women about to drop dead), it's just not worth it (!) |
| Chinju | Posted: Aug 26, 2008 - 17:12 Interesting segue from Doves - Satellites, in that particular way which I can't quite tell yet whether or not I really like. |

| MusicRookie (Fort Worth Texas) | Posted: May 08, 2008 - 11:50 Song was pretty good, but the backing vocals made me think of the Phantom of the Opera. |
| oscar_driver (Planet Earth) | Posted: Apr 22, 2008 - 13:47 was cool then, still cool |

| shuttlecr (Houston, Texas) | Posted: Jan 03, 2008 - 14:12 Oh, I'd hit it, too. Especially if she was cooing in my ear with that sweet voice! |
| Alpine (N39d39mW121d30m) | Posted: Dec 18, 2007 - 16:59 I'm buying this just for the album cover. She's perfect except for the shoes. I would like a more rounded toe, possibly an open toe, but definetly a strappy shoe. I think those ultra pointy shoes are hideous. My wife has some of those open back clog type shoes with a slight heel and a little strap and buckle on it. HOT HOT HOT! |
