Oh
Now I don't hardly know her
But I think I could love her
Crimson and clover
Ah
I wish she'd come walking over
Now I've been waiting to show her
Crimson and clover
Over and over
Yes ''(da-da, da-da, da-da)''
My my, such a sweet thing ''(da-da, da-da, da-da)''
I want to do everything ''(da-da, da-da, da-da)''
What a beautiful feeling ''(da-da, da-da, da-da)''
Crimson and clover ''(da-da, da-da, da-da)''
Over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over
Crimson and clover, over and over

| Spliff (Mountain Home, AR) | Posted: Jun 24, 2003 - 08:05 I still drive the same car I first heard this song in. I fwe could just get Radio Paradise on XM I would be happy in my 66 Mustang. |
| tg3k (The Jungle - 459.62 miles south of Paradise, CA) | Posted: May 14, 2003 - 14:15 Wow, listening to this with headphones points out all the "cool" effects these guys were using in their recording process. I've heard it a bazillion times over the AM radio waves, but I don't think I've ever heard it through a good system until today. It sounds kinda cheesy through 21st century ears (IMHO), but it was pretty groundbreaking stuff back when this song was recorded. This song definitely takes me back a few years. Not sure I want to go back there often, but every once in awhile is OK. ;) |
| ediTed (Phoenix, AZ) | Posted: May 14, 2003 - 14:14 I remember those warm summer nights when this song came on the radio. I always reached over and changed the channel... |
| Donastia (Seal Beach, CA) | Posted: May 14, 2003 - 14:09 God! This is really bringing back the memories. Reminds me of those hot and sunny, summer afternoons when my brother and I would help my dad wash the cars. Great tune! |
| Shimmer (Bethesda, MD) | Posted: May 14, 2003 - 14:08 I liked the Joan Jett version from the 80's. This one seems so tame. |
| Tizmself (Newbury Park, Ca) | Posted: May 04, 2003 - 10:07 I can't believe I heard this on RP. Not sure I'd want to hear it often, but it brings back great memories. ![]() |

The incidences of LSD use would spike. :) i'm thinking about 6 or 7 hit's would be great, right now!!! It's only a quarter to 1:00 in the A. (freakin') M., nevertheless, I'm . . . (yeah!) |

| BlueHeronDruid (Somewhere in the Pine Barrens) | Posted: Mar 24, 2003 - 14:53 It takes me back, reminding me of my childhood - summers on the beach, or walking home at the end of a long day in the water. Sweet. |
