Some day I'll wear
  a disappearing hairline
Some day I'll wear
  pajamas in the day time.

Afternoons, they'll be measured out with coffeespoons.

Oh, that's just fun while being self aware.
This album has a lot of reflective but silly songs. Thinking, but not too heavy. Great album.

The singer and his brother have a live CD, acoustic just the two of them. Do a good job of tunes and the singer has a good sense of humour ... well made me laugh.{#Roflol}

Forced, maybe.  Off-key, definitely not.  The guy's a barritone, something rarely heard in pop music.  I liked these guys mainly b/c there was finally something out there in my vocal range but also b/c they were a little folksy, a little alt, had a decent groove and weren't singing about how shitty life was, as was the case w/grunge.

Sounds just like a 'stretch' from ANY music era.  I LIKED the CTD's for that very reason...they were different with catchy tunes.  Loved 'em.  Great writing, too.  And yes, the album notes say the "coffee spoons" is from t.s. elliot

No. Never could stand this guys voice. The instrumentals are fine. But his voice is like a warm mouth rinse of gasoline and rusty nails.

There is a reason they never had another hit after this alblum.  And it isn't because of some crazy heroine addiction or anything like that.  It's because this voice and sound is interesting for about 2 weeks. then blech   "never want to hear it again."

Wow. Mom always told me "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."

I always thought these guys were kidding, like Tenacious D or Spinal Tap. Then again, I also thought that about 4 Non Blonz, too.

I love the variety on RP, but (to borrow a really uptight coworker's remark about Rage Against The Machine) "this is the exact kind of music I hate." This is the first song I've ever bothered to click on a rating of "1."

And if they DO play "Mmmm Mmmmm Mmmm Mmmm" and my web browser somehow locks and I can't shut it off, I'm gonna climb a water tower with a rifle.

Sorry mom.....Edited By Bill_Rockoff at 5:26 am on 5/29/2003

Good band. This song isn't ideal ("Superman" deserves that honor) but it's pretty good. Play the even numbered tracks from the first album. Or "Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm" from this one.
