That's funny, at first I thought it was White Stripes. It's not winning me over so far, any more than a White Stripes song would.

I was thinking of Mannish Boy at first. Ah well, it all comes down to the blues.

The more I hear from these guys the more I like them. The nineties had numerous eels overplayed radio songs. It seems there is so much more depth to this group than what the radio gave us

This is a great tune! I like most of the songs on this CD. I first heard it here.

Pick another one! Eels (or E, as he called himself previously) has a bunch of great songs - so why this boring tune?!

Speaking about E... his first album "A Man Called E" (1992) was pure magic. Recommended without reservation.

Yeah, same riff! If I hear that song here I would fall over in an uncontrolled spasm of laughter, just waiting for the comment board to light up.

But anyway, this song is one of the eels' few duds.

The voice sound as if it comes from a record player with lots of dust at the pick-up. Such effects I hate.

Whatever the effect the producer was trying to accomplish here, did not work. The sound really sucks.

This song is as monotonous and tenuous as those california governor debates last night

Definitely White Stripesy. Can't say I'm excited about it though. E IS a flexible fellow though, I'll give him that.

I can't beleive this song is only rated at a 4! It sounds kinda like something White Stripes would do. I've got to get some Eels. Everything I've heard from them has been very good.

If it feels right, do it. But slow down a bit. You're going too fast.

I like these guys & I think that this song is alright, but every time it comes on I think that it is Big Balls by AC/DC. That would be kinda cool & funny, talk about eclectic..

I caught the Letterman appearance... weird. They played "Saturday Morning" which you should recognize if you've ever listened to RP for more than 10 minutes at a time. The live performance was kinda drab (it was network TV), but kewl since they all wore these mock-Devo red jumpsuits

I've seen the Eels live and they were great, but this I didn't care for too much. Rather plodding.

Oh man, I heard the first opening notes and thought we were about to be blessed with Quicksilver Messenger Service's "Who Do You Love".
