Oh baby please don’t go.
Ah Darling please don’t go
Baby please don’t go down to New Orleans,
You know I love you so
Turn you lamp down low
Turn you lamp down low
Turn you lamp down low, I’m Begging you all night long
Baby please don’t go
Turn you lamp down low
Turn you lamp down low
Turn you lamp down low, I’m Begging you all night long
Baby please don’t go
You phone me way down here
You phone me way down here
You phone me way down here, about at rolling stone
You could have come down here
You could have come down here
You could have come down here
You could have come down here
oh,oh oh oh
Ah Darling please don’t go
Baby please don’t go down to New Orleans,
You know I love you so

Funny, was thinking the same thing the other day but hard to squeeze in amongst the 81 x U2!!

Let's hear any Winter brother song. Good Evening, Bill. umm, what he said. Specifically the 3 sided album "Second Winter" that he did with Edgar. The coolest track is 'Hustled Down in Texas' on side three (sandwiched in between 'I Love Everybody' and 'I Hate Everybody').

| Sjaaks (Horst, Netherlands) | Posted: Aug 26, 2010 - 02:10 I think this has to be listened to in context. So many (blues) artists don't play by setlists, they just play whatever they feel like. So when you're attending a concert it's always pretty cool when an artist comes up with a cover of a cool song, it's always surprising. For radio purposes, i agree these covers aren't always suitable... Though i really like Harry's take on this one... 8 | |||||||||

Also, Muddy Waters does a pretty good little version hisself! Agree, VM created a timeless effort of this song.

| shaktiboy | Posted: Sep 26, 2008 - 22:27 I personally like Harry's second CD "Wise & Otherwise" What he does with the blues is unique to say the least. He alone has brought Indian music together with the blues. No small feat and not to take anything away, but to contribute. To breath new life into it, I personally love it. High marks to this guy for originality. I'm a recording engineer, I dig the hell out of his playing. | |||||||||
