Everything's different,
With my head in the clouds.
I hit this corner,
with my foot on the gas,
I started sliding, I'm losing.
Everything's different.
Just like that.
Oh my God,
Wait and see,
What will soon become of me.
Frozen hearts, screaming wheels,
Does that screaming come from me?
So damn lucky,
That you went on ahead.
You say, you say
'I'll see you later.'
I heard what you said in few minutes later.
I'm sliding.
Everything's different, again.
Oh my God.
Wait and see,
What will soon become of me.
Frozen hearts, screaming yields,
Does that screaming come from me?
I'm dizzy from all this spinning.
Now I'm thinking,
That you did all you could,
When you said 'my love, take it slowly.'
'Okay' is what I said.
Oh my God.
Wait and see,
What will soon become of me.
This Frozen heart and screaming yields.
Does that screaming come from me?
Take me back,
To just before I was spinning
Take me back,
Just before I got dizzy
Take me back,
Its amazing what a minute can do
Take me back,
to just before I was spinning
It's just like you
Round Round Round..(etc)
It's amazing what a minute can do
Round Round Round...
Ok is what I say

| notremotely | Posted: Nov 07, 2008 - 16:38 I'm generally a DM solo/DMB fan so I like this already. But to me, this version is a the tiniest bit grocery store muzak style....a bit too slick. The version of this on Live at Radio City Music Hall is soo much more raw and powerful, I think. |

| Chazar (Orlando, FL) | Posted: Jun 02, 2008 - 18:48 First heard Under the Table and Dreaming and really enjoyed the Best of Whats Around, What Would You Say, and Pay For What You Get. Some good acoustic sounds with sax.... The next album Crash came....much more commercialized. #41 was good.... Then I lost all interest....same sounds....over and over....actually became annoying to listen to....can't listen to them anymore. No hate....their sound is just worn out. |

Just to be a picky SOB, I have to point out that this isn't Dave Matthews Band, it's Dave Matthews. Probably doesn't mean much to someone who doesn't like him, but to those of us who do like him (and his singing), it's an important distinction. To me, this album sounds completely different than the entire body of work DMB has put out. It took me a while to get my head around it, but I'm getting to really like it. Sorry. |

Yeah, sure buddy, if you say so. Some people love DM and some people hate DM, just like nearly every other musician out there. You're just going to have to accept it. No need to get your panties in a wad because of it. |

His reputation has little to do with my personal aversion to DM. In fact I like plenty of music that'd probably be considered uncool, including Jack Johnson and Ben Harper. I can't even say why exactly, but Dave is in a small select group of artists that I just can't tolerate even in small doses. |

I've tried, but I just don't like Dave's music either. I can't quite put my finger on what it is about it, but it seems more like rambling to me than a coherent song. Just does nothing for me. |

| bronorb (Wisconsin) | Posted: Jul 24, 2007 - 09:56 I agree with a lot of the comments about DMB. It seems to me that the early albums were more of a collaborative effort with the rest of the band. I read somewhere that he did most of the music on the later albums without much input from them. Big mistake, IMHO. |

A good bit of his guitar stuff is actually pretty complex, as are the rhythms. But would sophisticated Xers and Yers want anything less? ZZZZzzzzzzzzz Doesn't do much for me. |

Other than that, RGIO, I agree with you on a lot of points. Personally, I paid full price for "Everyday" at Best Buy, and it was the most disappointing music purchase of my entire life. That's not an exaggeration; it was a defining moment for me, to realize that good bands often made experimental "growth" albums with mediocre results. If DMB had good work after that "Everyday," I don't know anything about it. I still spin "Under the Table" and "Crash" continuously, and that's all I want to know about them. |
