I read a review of his live show that said he did this song with all the lights turned off, then when it came time for him to belt it out they turned the lights on the audience. Weird, but I'd like to see that.

I'm ho-hum on this song though. There are about 4 songs on his album that I absolutely love.

I agree with your first statement, but I don't know if it will indeed improve for me upon further listening or not. The song is obviously the result of a very concerted effort--I just don't know if the effort paid off.

Really enjoyed the use of the male chorus: very unique effect. Curious as to what they were singing. Sounded like an extract from a stand alone contemporary composition, certainly not "Gregorian Chant" as Amazon's critic would have it. More than one language for one thing.

I love this song. It is excellent, excellent buildup, beautiful lyrics, easy to play on the guitar to your girl too.
