| bigbobbybubba (San Francisco, CA) | Posted: Jun 16, 2012 - 21:05 Love this song, always have. Brings back memories of Don Krirshner and late nights. Kudos! |
| brucelowrey | Posted: Jun 16, 2012 - 20:22 Bill, The current "alternative station" may not recognize Focus - "Hocus Pocus," but I do. Thanks for playing this classic! |
| RobertAtParadise | Posted: May 16, 2012 - 01:38 A worldwide underestimated band.. my complements to Radio Paradise who has confirmed their high level as a music station. |
| RoelantSiekman (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) | Posted: May 16, 2012 - 01:31 Delighted to hear this one! I guess the 'jodelling' kills the song for many people (given the low rating) but if you can get past this, it's a real piece of art of a band with one of the best guitarist in the world and a magnificent all round musician (Jan Akkerman and Thijs van Leer). I didn't quite get your comment on this one though, Bill. You said this wouldn't get much airplay? |
| palad1 (London UK. A froggie in exile.) | Posted: May 16, 2012 - 01:29 Having a shitty day putting-out fires at work since 5am... This song makes my day worthwile. Thanks Bill, and props to all codemonkeys/ Firefighters! |

I still have the Empire 598 I had bought previous to this one also. |
| phlattop | Posted: Apr 14, 2012 - 08:07 A bit out there but likeable. And is that Popeye the sailor man having a seizure (the scat yodeling in the first 3 minutes)? |
| h9xh9xh9x (in a chair) | Posted: Apr 14, 2012 - 08:07 Focus was tripping to Looney Toons while eating Captn Crunch, I dare say. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4ouPGGLI6Q> Freddy Mercury never sang/whistled like that :-) |
| alfredas | Posted: Apr 14, 2012 - 08:07 Used to hear this all the time when I was a kid. Great stuff! |
| Euskadita (MX) | Posted: Apr 14, 2012 - 08:06 Why this crap of song and not any track from Kayak (another progressive Dutch band)? |
| JustineFromWyoming (Teetering on the edge of Avenue D) | Posted: Apr 14, 2012 - 08:05 We can all get on with our Saturday now that we've heard some Dutch yodeling. The seven year old has adequately rocked out and now the cat is howling in the hallway. Tonight is the local high school prom ... oh, to be able to sneak this song into that event's set list. I'd say it's a hit all around... |

| foothillfreak (Salt Lake City) | Posted: Mar 13, 2012 - 16:28 Growing up in Cincinnati I heard this one all the time on WEBN. I believe they often used it for their fireworks show. anyway, don't live in Cincy anymore so it's been a while. Thx for the blast from the past.. |

| rodwenban (Central Coast NSW Australia) | Posted: Feb 10, 2012 - 22:13 I saw them too, Sydney Australia must have been 1974 or '75 good stuff - built on a nice rythym and seriously profound lyrics.. |
| haretic (toward Abad, just south of Maitri) | Posted: Feb 10, 2012 - 22:13 A true blast from the past out of left field! OK, that was really great fun: now put it back on the shelf for at least another year. |
| Burg (Wageningen) | Posted: Jan 10, 2012 - 02:48 It was the first real life performance of a rock band I saw. In Arnhem, Netherlands, early seventees. Many smoking and fumbling hippies. So memories.., but still only a 7. |
| GrooVy (Planet Earth, Mainly...) | Posted: Jan 10, 2012 - 02:45 Fun! I could easily hear this song 1 time per each of the dull conversations people may want to have with you in life! And since even i can make others dull conversations interesting, a few more times then that, couldn't hurt either! =) |

| unclehud (300 feet above the planet) | Posted: Dec 09, 2011 - 07:32 The first real-life rock album I purchased. Had to drive 25 miles to the record store in Clemson. Did I purchase Machine Head on that same trip? Maybe ... hard to remember that far back. |

| mbolch30307 (Atlanta) | Posted: Dec 09, 2011 - 07:23 My rating drops the longer the song goes on. Rockin' guitars spoiled by vocal vomiting. |

| Cynaera (In a hammock under my own vine and fig tree.) | Posted: Nov 07, 2011 - 15:38 I must have grown up a little bit since July, when I hated this song. Maybe I've just learned how to lighten up and have fun. And this song is, for some reason, FUN for me today. Manic and so incredibly varied. It makes my brain riccochet around inside my skull. And "Sedated" is the perfect follow-up for this song... Where else but RadioParadise can one hear this set of music? I bow to the greatness. |
| dalebryan (Central Florida) | Posted: Nov 07, 2011 - 15:37 Not exactly what I want hear after a long hard Monday. Please mellow out a bit, guys. |
