Thought this was Venus Hum. Better than most Tori songs (which isn't saying much) IMHO.

As a small child I used to listen to the Brazilian version of this song over and over, on the soundtrack for "Black Orpheus." In my thirties I realized that the song had gotten so far under my skin that I couldn't listen to it without stopping everything and melting into that childlike state of awe that some melodies can inspire. When I hear Tori Amos's version, I bought the soundtrack just for that song and the Spanish guitar song by Hans Zimmer. They are both outstanding musical accomplishments. How a modern artist can translate a timeless song into our time ... some mysteries are too wonderful for me.

I really didn't think that this was Tori Amos, just listening to the instrumentals. Of course, her voice is umistakable. I liked this as a change.
