She attended Belmont University, a renowned school of music in downtown Nashville, and received an award from there in 2000. Her husband John usually plays all of the instruments on their albums, at least this one. They are excellent in concert! They are great friends with Ben Folds and co-wrote a song called "Ugly Girl," which I found when doing karaoke of all things. When I first heard them, my co-worker had loaned me the CD and I was listening at work. I had to stop what I was doing and just listen. I was so blown away! |
