Well, I'm old enough to know the score
I'm yound enough to want more more more
There's a demon deep inside of me
Some times I let the old boy run free
Don't think twice when the sun goes down
I'm troublebound
Try to make a living during the day
Deep in the night I throw it all away
There's a demon deep inside of me
Sometimes I let the old boy run free
I'm yound enough to want more more more
There's a demon deep inside of me
Some times I let the old boy run free
Don't think twice when the sun goes down
I'm troublebound
Try to make a living during the day
Deep in the night I throw it all away
There's a demon deep inside of me
Sometimes I let the old boy run free

| black321 (Bong Island) | Posted: Mar 28, 2008 - 08:32 The drummer and I think one or two other fellas from this band went on to play in a great LA blues act called the Red Devils during the early 90s. The Devils are no more, and in fact the lead singer died of an OD in the late 90s, under suspicious circumstances. |

| fretman | Posted: Jan 30, 2007 - 08:50 This stuff is really good for its day. Webb Wilder could kick some ass, but I don't believe this music is about kicking ass, really. Maybe driving your pickup down the two-lane at 90 miles an hour drunk off yer ass, but if you had to stop and kick ass, or get yours kicked, you wouldn't be listening to the Blasters, now would you? |

Texas Radio, anyone? i always liked "marie, marie". i found out something the other day. i was working in somebody's house and noticed a copy of "no depression" (the magazine) on their coffee table. it was a recent issue with dave alvin on the cover. i asked the husband "who read that"? since he and his wife are older than myself, (really old), and i thought i was the only person in this desert that read "that" magazine, i was stunned! he told me his daughter is daves main squeeze! well he didn't phrase it that way. needless to say i was stunned again! after picking myself up of the floor... i thought, cool. i'm 3 degrees removed from dave alvin. now who wants to hear my story about working on marilyn monroes old house? :nodhead: |
