Come on guys....Morrissey takes us back 15 -20 years.Remember when you first got laid? I was listening to the Smiths with a very freaky Smiths freak.

At least Morrisey is consistent. Another "2" for the pile.

Would someone PLEASE remove the frog from his throat? Sounds like an English Kermit the Frog singing...

Decent. At best. Pretty flat.

I like a good amount of his solo work. Love the Smiths. This song? Er...

Every cover I've heard of this song is colorless. Hold out for the original.

Listening to Morrisey can be like bad sex sometimes. It can feel really good while its going on, but you end up feeling 'icky' when it's all done.

I like it how he gives it a whole different, much clearer (though not so much entertaining ) twist. Young Paul Weller's approach is bitter and angry while Morrisey's (off course) more mature and melancholy. About how Paul Weller will probably do it now, after all his experiences, I guess.

this is an alright cover (i don't hate the moz like some) but, really, the original version crushes this one like a grape - more jam on radio paradise, please

Bill needs to add a ratings category for songs that are a complete joke, as this is.

Oh! The Jam done by Morrissey!!! Never heard this before!!!! The lyrics, and that voice...really nice combo!

I've got a CD called "Fire & Skill" which is Jam songs covered by others (Everything But The Girl, Garbage, the Gallaghers, etc.) but the version on there of "That's Entertainment" is by a band called Reef and I was underwhelmed. This version is really a treat! Thanks!

I agree with most here....not, by far, The Jam's finest..

But why does Morrissey cover it?....NO NEED!!!!

I'll give this a '1' for taking the pi55..........

Hadn't heard Morrissey's version. I like it, too. Different.

Thanks!
