Several good songs on this album. Very underrated... For me it's a classic as it holds up after all these years. I still play it and enjoy hearing it in the RP rotation.... Brings back pleasant memories of different times and places around the world where this album was in the background, car, beach... Nice.

Sounds like this digital might have come from a good piece of vinyl.   It is warm but crackles here and there,  just like my old Rega Planar with an AKG cartridge.

Not as crazy about this plain Dire Straits stuff. It's aching to be 'Sultans of Swing'...sounds like a sister to it. I really LOVE Mark Knopfler's solo stuff a bit more...oh well. I'll take this over something like Bob Dylan or Rolling Stones any day.
