Neko's voice. . .so amazing.

I expected to be let down at a recent concert, how could she really be that good live.  She was.  . . .and she was funny - and joked with Kelly Hogan between songs, and kind of got choked up with the little kids that were dancing by the stage. . . It was a great night.  I think I love her!   Don't evr miss the chance to see her live.

I had the pleasure of seeing/hearing Neko in concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.  Truly a wonderful show, great performance...

Seems that everything about Neko Case is "borrowed" from somewhere — first the entire melody, and now the album cover.  The album cover, I believe, is a concept played out on an episode of "Law and Order — Criminal Intent" where a disturbed dude was trying to impress this master photographer by photographing corpses dressed up and posed.  Photoshop got an gratiutous product placement.  Of course, the perp slipped over the line and started committing crimes.  Enter, NYC's finest ... "

Dammit, you're right! Each time I hear this melody I wonder what it reminds me of, but I could'nt get it together by myself. That's psychological, I guess, because the association between a band like Pink Floyd and such a pure, cristaline voice seems nearly impossible to me....

Neko has the most distinctive and unique voice among the wide variety of female (heck male and female) vocalists we can hear on RP. A warm "velvety" quality to it. Just great stuff. Love it.

I think it is the inflection that brings to mind Mother by PF. The lyrics are different, and the tune is similar but not the same. Nonetheless, I appreciate the comments pointing it out. I was unable to put my finger on it, at first. Interesting.
