Just ask them them to sit down next to you. If that fails bludgeon them to death with a blunt instrument of some variety.

True the original single is great, this is a bit off. Please RP just play the normal single. Still nice though.

There is a better version than this one, a much better one. The best of CD has it I think.

This song was banned originally by the BBC in the UK when it was first released in the early 90's because it sounded like Saddam !!!

No it wasn't. Don't be so silly.

However, i would happily suggest that this particular version be banned from RP cos it's utter crap. Bill, next time you program this, can you play the original album (and certainly one time single) version that doesn't sound like a cruise ship cover group playing around with GarageBand?

You got a problem with Sesame Street?

As a guy who has a 2 year old son, Sesame Street has become a renewed favorite with me (after a mere 30 year absence in my life!).

Great song!!

I have heard a live version of this song that goes on for some time with the crowd singing "Sit Down, sit down" for several minutes. Moving version, but a bit long!

This mix sounds different (a little mellower and low key than the version I remember from 80's radio).

Name your source for this story - it sounds like nonsense. The BBC doesn't ban much, and as the song title is 'Sit Down', it was pretty obvious to everyone that this had nothing to do with Saddam. Also, in February 1991 James played Sit Down on Terry Wogan's prime time BBC TV chat show: it's hard to imagine the BBC welcoming the song in a more explicit way than putting it on Wogan. I think there's an urban myth going on here.

Very appropriate to play this today.

This song was banned originally by the BBC in the UK when it was first released in the early 90's because it sounded like Saddam !!!

As I say - very appropriate considering the events from earlier
