Mirandese word "cardar" means "the process of brushing raw or washed fibers to prepare them as textiles". So here it goes, and i will correct the mirandese because it has some errors: Cardai cardicas cardai........Brush "women who brush", brush la lhana pa ls cobertores,..the wool for the blankets que................................that las pulgas stan prenhadas,..the fleas are pregnant ban a parir cardadores......will give birth to carders Tirioni tioni tioni (don't really have one meaning or at least i don't know) La moda de l Tirioni............The fashion of Tirioni L lhugar de Dues...........The village of Two L lhugar de...................The place of Ronn wrote: The song is in Mirandês, a mountain dialect from the northeat corner of Portugal.
