Hello, hello, I'm glad to see you
Now we'll only stop to say goodbye
We'll go, we'll go just where we want to
We won't let the others bleed us dry
'Cause I am but a fool for you, that's right
And I got nothing to lose that I'd choose tonight
Come on, come on we should be leaving
But I let another one go by
Oh no, oh no, I couldn't leave you
Though I know they'd like to make me try
'Cause I shot down the moon for you, that's right
'Cause I got something to prove to you tonight
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up
You know, you know I want to please you
And now's the time to let me try
Will you, will you do as I do?
Will you wait for me to stew or die?
'Cause I don't ever wanna see you cry
Yeah, I will never leave you high and dry
I, yeah, I...
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me up, yeah
I will always wait for you to catch me
I will always wait for you to catch me
I will always wait for you to catch me
I will always wait for you to catch me

| LadyLovelyLocks (Otherside of the Mirror UK) | Posted: Feb 10, 2006 - 10:27 I think the lyrics might be quite good, if I could only get past this mans voice ... which isn't quite as bad as fingernails on a blackboard, but it ain't exactly easy listening either. Repetitive music, would work perfect for banging one's head on the keyboard. |
| mafe (La Crosse, WI) | Posted: Feb 10, 2006 - 10:27 What happened to the sexy voice from "Get Miles"? |

| Gregorama (Austin, TX) | Posted: Jan 24, 2005 - 10:08 I usually love Gomez's stuff, but this one is not quite getting it, for me. Having said that, they usually rule. |
| Mugro (Lane Village, Massachusetts) | Posted: Jan 24, 2005 - 10:08 Go-mez. Go-away! And this, after Beethoven!!!! :P |
| bobringer (Wayne, NJ) | Posted: Jan 24, 2005 - 10:08 This is pretty sweet. I really like Gomez and this sounds NOTHING like any Gomez that I knew... and I still love it. They've been hanging out the the "garage band" bands... and it sure sounds pretty damn sweet. Bob |

| cycleman (Redding, Connecticut) | Posted: Dec 01, 2004 - 05:12 Well I've postred on some other Gomez songs in the past...felt like the show I saw a months back in Las Vegas at House of Blues was one of the best live sets I've seen in a long time. These guys really know their stuff....thanks to the UK bloke who clued me in on their manager...did not know that. For new listerners of Gomez give these guys a chance....you'll find every album is a bit different in a good way. |
