Never heard an Iron and Wine song that I liked or didn't sound like EVERY other Iron and Wine song. Sorry,  a one from me.

The vocals are a bit too clear. A little too close to me, hear? I don't need to feel your breath. Your tongue in my ear.

I'm with you, slippery. I'll never understand why people insist on categorizing anything that's not a rocker as "depressing", but whatever. Great, mellow tune.

This song makes me understand the 'endless numbered days' of the album title...

Please, people, live - or if you must kill yourselves, do so in private?

It's the sort of song that would go down well during the last spliff of the day, or a wee single malt nightcap before settling down to bye-byes. Pleasant enough I suppose, but there's a fine line between elegaic and dull and I&W regularly tread it. An auto-rated 3 from the increasingly somnolent Nottingham jury.

A gorgeous flow to the mind and ears. This is what dipping your toes into a creek on a warm summer day with the one you love sounds like. Sam's sound has a wondrously invasive quality that sticks to your soul.

I saw "In good company" on a plane recently and was struck by the quality of the soundtrack. Iron & wine makes up a large part of it. I had never heard them before. Nice chilled out tunes :)

All the breathy, whispering and gasping of the Iron & Wine vocal has distracted me from a real listening to their work, with the unfortunate effect of preventing me from hearing what may otherwise be worthy lyrical content. Isn't this how people without much to their voices "sing" to mask the absence of a singing voice?
