When I saw them in Boston in the late 80s they did a cover of Neil Young's Barstool Blues. Great show, btw. |

Lou, on the other hand, totally kicked ass! He played every song from the New York album in the order that they were cut from the CD. That way, we would remember the show as we sat in our cars or living rooms listening to the album later. The guy is a genius. Another band that sounds very similar to the Feelies are the "Lemonheads", especially their album "Car, Button, Cloth". Worth a listen. Another RP band. |

What's hard to appreciate is how fast they are playing even though it isn't loud and distorted. They would hit every note. In one show the lead guitarist must have broke 10 strings. Never seen that before. |
