OK Hippostar deserves a repeat comment.  'Cause I've so often gotten lyrics wrong. "Rasin & Redwine"??  Too hilarious.

Erase and rewind.  Not too sure about the rest of the lyrics but GOD I've so often to go to "Erase and Rewind".  I wish the girls were of the same ilk.

This whole album floored me when it came out. A darker, more serious escalation from their lounge pop roots. I left most of what I listened to back in the 90s in the 90s, but this album transcends what was going on at the time and is still a favorite.

Which reminds me of an apocryphal tale. A group of men and women were in a restaurant in Dublin, and the waiter, twigging that they were tourists, asked where they were from, to which they replied "Sweden". "Ah," says the waiter, "you're all Vikings", to which they nodded enthusiastically. "It's good to see", says the waiter, "that you've brought your own women with you this time" ;-)

Loved the bass-heavy opening but kind of goes downhill from there. Amason is still my favorite new(ish) Swedish group.

Not sure if the Cardigans are still on the go but I have just realised that they remind me of Goldfrapp. Both excellent exponents of their genre - whatever it might be called.
