This song is in the tiny intersection of "things on Radio Paradise" and "things played on the alt / metal rock station I listened to in high school".  Thanks Bill!

Nice! One of the only mainstream hard rock bands with radio play that I love. I could not stand them when this song came out, but they decided to play this album at the bar before a CKY show that I went to in 2002. I have been a fan since. :)

Word. Though - it won't likely happen on a broad scale. It's too easy just to flame and run. Sadly some people get a kick out of that.

I'm not sure some people know what "ripping-off" means. I've seen several other comments here where someone has been accused of ripping their own music off. People really need to think before they comment. And the whole concept of "ripping-off" gets even more? nuanced the deeper you get into it. I can't really put this down to cultural, language or age differences anymore. What the hell folks?

Either this is a joke or Josh Homme just got accused of ripping himself off? {#Stupid}

Check out this passage from the website for The Desert Sessions.

"Although Homme has often debuted songs at Desert Sessions that would later be re-recorded for Queens studio albums (2), you would be mistaken—oh so sorely mistaken!—to think of Desert Sessions as nothing more than Josh Homme and his drug buddies workshedding Queens material far from the meddlesome and quite possibly unclothed influence of Homme's partner-in-Queens, bassist-vocalist Nick Oliveri. It may be that on occasion—check out the very Queens-ish ‘In My Head...Or Something' and ‘Covered In Punks Blood' —but 9/10 is mostly about novel songwriting collaborations and ensemble playing.

"For me, Desert Sessions is more than the playing, it's the introducing of people to each other, saying, ‘I'll be back in an hour and check in on you guys,'" says Homme. "I love that shit." "

QOTSA does not equal Desert Sessions. One is a group putting out albums, the other is a bunch of guys and gals getting together to have some fun and make some music along the way.

Hmmm .... maybe it is the same thing!

Oh man, I just lost so much respect for QotSA (small 'ot'?)!!!!

I just love a chunk of melodic thrash. This reminds me of vintage "Smoke on the Water" Deep Purple, but the backing vocals need, er, a little work...{#Propeller}
