Yeah, that seems to be a stylistic choice of hers - I hear it in some songs and then again she can sing clearly with an open throat on others. I've always loved her voice and, mostly, her ability to place her gift at the service of the song. She never overwhelms like most modern vocalists and neither does she seem uninvolved, something that bothers me about Linda Ronstadt. |
