Wouldn't be the first time love made a fool of me
Wouldn't even care but now you're here to see
It comes as no surprise
Just leave the light on
What I wouldn't give if you could have it all
The sun that's going down the bed that breaks the fall
The cradle and the bow
So you can take comfort now
You can take comfort now...
Sometimes a heart can break and make its own relief
The way a cold dark night invites the fire thief
He wants to show us how
So we can take comfort now
We can take comfort now
We can take comfort now
Leave the light on...

| choffman2001 (Florida's Left Coast) | Posted: Jul 06, 2011 - 17:56 Thank you, Bill and RP, for once again exposing me (!!) to an artist whom I most likely would never have heard anywhere else, which is saying a lot since I have satellite radio in my car, cable music channels at my disposal at home (most of them *oughtta* go in the disposal!) as well as apple TV for streaming web music (always on RP!). I clicked through the link to buy the mp3 cd on Amazon. First time I've ever downloaded an mp3 album - I own many hundreds of "real" CDs and it's hard to make the switch, but hey - ya gotta get with the times at some point! (I mention this only because I like to remind listeners that RP gets a lil monetary compensation whenever listeners click through to Amazon or iTunes from the RP website) Thanks again! |

| Cynaera (South of Neanderthal) | Posted: Aug 18, 2010 - 17:09 This is so good... It's evening, I worked my assets off, I'm sunburned and at least two muscles in my leg may never walk again, but I have a prism in my window, and the sun is creating rainbows that are dancing all over my walls. And this song is so relaxing and pleasant... All those jagged edges are rounded, and I feel like life isn't so bad. Cats are sacked out. Let's just keep this rather Zen moment for a little while longer - tomorrow comes too soon. ![]() ![]() |
| byebyedelray (Arlington, VA) | Posted: Aug 02, 2010 - 15:43 I know it's not entirely this artist's fault, but the last 4 songs (Baker Street, that Hans Zimmer ditty, To Sheila, this one) could be the featured hits for a new K-Tel album: Boredom Rock! |
