I love Sophie Zelmani.  I also think she sings beautifully.

Super quality voice, the music is fine enough, but would love to hear an a cappella rendition.

Great song, first one of hers I ever heard, prefer some of her other ones now though.

Ha! You're right, that's what I first thought it was going to be. Still I like the sound of it and think it's worth keeping in the lineup. {#Angel}

Be honest. ANYTHING is going to sound good after 5 months away. 3 at most.

For some weird reason, I have Claudine Longet (Andy Williams' ex-wife) on my MP3 player singing "God Only Knows", and this reminded me of her voice.

Do with this what you will - and I know you will.

This is good. She has an intriguing voice, a slight distance from the song that gives it less shine than I expected. It gets more tense but rounded at the end. Very nice.

Reminds me:  I think I'll upload Screaming In my Pillow by SSQ —- same ethereal, seductive kind of female voice, offset by much harder edged lyrics.

FWIW, I like this one.  Still trying to figure out why.

Not a bad little song, and yes, it is a pretty standard chord progression.  "Knocking On Heaven's Door", "Oh, Yoko", the aforementioned "No Woman No Cry" and I'm sure many others.  She wouldn't be the first artist to use traditional/folk chord arrangements.

She is good looking in real life, this picture does her no service.
The rather ugly makeup job and flat light makes her look pretty much like any other swedish girl coming in to town on fridays.
Do a google image search whydontcha. ;)

Anyone else think the verses sound just like Mandela Day, by Simple Minds?

Aside from that, I quite like this!

EDIT: I guess I should read the song comments first. This has been mentioned before.

Oh yeah, I looked ... and saw the prices: upwards of $20 for each CD! I didn't necessarily want to buy 3 CDs to get the 3 or 4 songs I really like. Might, though.

Me too... when I absolutely have to hear her, I can find this one on youtube. I would love to have "Hard to Know" - so far, I haven't been able to clear the barrier that would allow me to order CD's on line or pay "import" prices
