| GawgaBoy (State of Confusion) | Posted: Jul 16, 2008 - 06:11 Had to bump this up from a 9 to a 10... it is "Godlike". One problem though Bill; I need to get ready and go in to the office and I can't tear myself away from this morning's playlist. |

Ain't that the truth, brother! |
| toterola (Somewhere between Shipping and Receiving) | Posted: Jun 14, 2008 - 17:38 Chuck Jackson, where ever you are, I hope you and Pam are dancin' to this! |
| Panama_Floyd (Atlanta, GA) | Posted: May 14, 2008 - 07:06 Ten. Every once in awhile at an airshow, I meet someone who was lucky enough to see some of these Big Band acts in person. Some of `em get teary-eyed when they discover someone younger then they likes the stuff. |

| Dirktooth (Mar Vista, CA) | Posted: Jan 09, 2008 - 08:38 One of the the thigs that amazes me listening to Glenn Miller is the coordination of the band. Every note is crisp and in place, while the rhythm just builds. Talk about your well-rehearsed groups! |
| KermitDfrog (Los Angeles, CA) | Posted: Jan 09, 2008 - 08:36 Where else are you going to hear this with Los Lobos and the Foo Fighters all in the same hour? |

We didn't have a lot when we were kids, but Dad (b. 1921) had a stack of LP's, 78's. He taught me to dance to this, by standing me on his feet as he whirled me around the room. Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Vera Lynne... music like this brings memories of it back, THANKS BILL!!!!! My Dad loved this stuff and actually saw Glenn Miller perform in NY when he was in the service during WWII. Had to blow his socks off being a young man from tne North Woods of Wisconsin. Miss you Dad. |
| nagsheadlocal (North Carolina, the new New Jersey) | Posted: Jan 09, 2008 - 08:35 My late mother's favorite band. Like a poster downthread, we didn't have much around our house in the early 50s, but Mom always made sure the radio was on and taught us how to use the record player when we were young. We always had music. Thanks, Mom. |
| Mojo_LA (Los Angeles) | Posted: Jan 09, 2008 - 08:35 It's the music our grandparents used to annoy their parents with. I love it! |
