I got excited to hear this song on RP just now, as it's a favorite of mine, but then I realized that RP is where I heard the song in the first place!

One of the most perfect cocktail hour songs. Second only to "Tangerine Speedo."

Hilton Head Island loves this song.

Someone way down below suggested the people on the cover were shooting at illegal immigrants at the Texan border, but I hope that is not the case.

New cover art added: so much for that spirited discussion.  Still a good tune, however.

A Man Called Adam (also abbreviated AMCA) are British artists. They consist of Sally Rodgers and Steve Jones. I love the sound even though that was not really what the ocean ever sounded like for the 10 + months we played on the Pacific. I would have gladly traded 3-11 ocean Tsunami for this album though! As far as i can tell, they only released 2 albums & 2 compilation albums.

The Apple (Big Life, 1991)
Duende (Other Records, 1998)

A Man Called Adam: Collected Works Volume One (2010, Other Records)
A Man Called Adam: Collected Works Volume Two (2010, Other Records)

I hope they can find it in their hearts to give us a few more great albums! Let them know that you agree with me if you want too! =)

Could be mountain folk in the Southern Appalachians.  We're constantly preparing for a Zombie Apocalypse, Commie Invasion, Yankee Second Coming, or just plain unpleasant tourists — and we like latin boogie jazz.

It started with Ann taking a bet that she could knock down a can on the first shot, but by the time the tale got to Sweden...

The shots mostly come from the other direction, Darkmatter. Cool little techno/chill/nostalgia/lounge piece.
