Sounds like someone who wished they were XTC but were not.  I am normally a sucker for a bit of sax which is what I think that is but I think I'll put this one back where I got it from.

That´s true, when I first listen the sax, it automatically reminded me Kid Abelha!

This song was "inspired" in Pintura Íntima, an old song (recorded in 1983) from Kid Abelha, a well known brazilian band. You can listen the original song in YouTube - just look for "Kid Abelha Pintura Intima".

as a fellow representative of the nostalgia consitituency .. i also love this band .. was thrilled to find a $3  or $4 used CD a few years ago when I was still buying CDs .. having said that .. anything more than $5 might have been more than I was willing to pay for nostalgia ..

I like it. It reminds me of The Church. Fresh and exhilarating. Of course these days, most people don't actually play their instruments. LOL. Keep this in the playlist and whatever else these guys put out. Sorry to the rest you guys who really don't like the sounds of the 1980's. I'm all for change but I like power music.
