Have to confess this is why I carry 2 sets of earplugs to concerts, 1 set is just decibel lightening, the other is bass blocking. The 3rd option is - none.

Saw them the other night in Vancouver. Tiny crowd, right up front and everything perfect, speaking as a huge fan.  Great songs and perfect sound  - but I felt like I was at a Broadway show with a lack of any spontaneity or passion.  I'm going to reserve judgement and pledge to see them again, perhaps this show came to close to seeing Cake who nailed it

TC is one contant RP choice that I have struggled to 'get'.  It all sounds a bit cut'n'paste chill morcheebazero7lemonjellyair'sih to me.

Nothing wrong with it, yet too calculated and formulaic chill zone for me.

I picked up on TC a few years back after  "Until the Morning" was used in a Lexus Ad (or was it a Nissan? - that's how memorable..)

No urge to hear any more from them.  Not bad, just not very good.

I love almost everything these guys have ever recorded.  Thanks, Bill, for this one!
