I don't understand your posting.

My guess is Husker Du will not be played here, because it's not "easy listening" enough (and not because YOU don't know them...?!?). I miss a lot of post punk bands here... especially from the early 90s ...but, oh well...

And I like the Foo Fighters. I simply love what Dave Grohl is doing (though I don't own any of his records...). I don't care if they are a mega-band.

I hear this song and wanna get out there in the world and DO something instead of complaining about it.  This song is currently being used to advertise the program "Frontline" on the PBS stations we receive. It's a fantastic collage of images set to this music.  I usually don't like to hear good rock music being used to sell a television program or a commercial product, but in this case, it fits so well, it's forgiveable.

And this song will always be a 10 for me, because it lights up my brain and my inspiration and makes me not think about how bad I have it, but how good I COULD have it with some positive action instead of apathy.

Just wow.{#Sunny}

{#Dancingbanana_2} How can I NOT crank this one up?  Back when I had a radio, I'd hear this song while I was watering plants, and I'd dance. Well, it was dawn, so no one was around to see me. Still, this is one of the songs that I wanna be buried with. Gawd. Love it.

I really like Grohl too.  He's a genius at making tasty, accessible pop tunes out of prickly, inaccessible musical building blocks.  This song has 7/4 time, 3-measure 4/4 phrases, a 1/2-step interval riff... but I think it's as catchy as The Ramones.  Great stuff. (Over-analysis complete!)

At the risk of sounding very corny, this song is a blast to play and sing on the video game Rock Band.  Solid tune too.  There is much better Foos stuff out there, but I'm always happy to hear this pop up on RP.
